This knife features Red Burlap Micarta w/Black G-10 Liners and an inlaid Black Canvas Micarta shield. The knife you see pictured here is the exact knife you’ll receive, built as a unique piece within this custom drop.

Forced patina grind, spine, and ricasso.

*NOTE: A forced patina finish is just that, a controlled method of forcing a patina to form on the steel's surface, and is not a manmade coating. The blade will lighten/darken in some areas with use, which is expected, intentional, and part the charm of owning a forced patina blade. Your knife's patina will evolve as you use it, meaning every knife will develope its own look and personality.

If you’ve been paying attention to our social media posts lately, you’ve likely seen that we’ve been teasing a new model. We’re thrilled to finally introduce a project that’s been in the works for over a year—the Marshland Trapper! This isn’t just any slipjoint knife; it’s a culmination of decades of knife-making experience and a prestigious partnership with White River Knife and Tool.

We've poured our hearts into this knife, drawing from our extensive experience as full-time knifemakers since 2011 (and custom makers since the late '90s). The Marshland Trapper is designed by us and made entirely in the USA, thanks to our collaboration with White River Knife and Tool. Their manufacturing capabilities and high standards have allowed us to produce a knife that we are incredibly proud of. It’s truly an honor to work with them, not only for their expertise but also because they had enough faith in this design to make it part of their line as the Trailhead Trapper (coming soon).

Each Marshland Trapper is built and hand-fit in-house, ensuring that every knife meets our rigorous standards for superb fit and finish. The blade is made from S35VN steel, known for its exceptional durability and edge retention. The spine is carefully hand-profiled, and the liners are relieved to reduce drag and eliminate tang scratching, giving the knife a unique touch typically only seen in the custom knife world.

We’ve designed this knife to offer the best in both form and function. Each Marshland Trapper is meticulously hand-finished to ensure the blade is well-centered and the backspring is level in the closed, half-stop, and open positions. These details might seem small, but for us, they make all the difference.
