*NOTE: A forced patina finish is just that, a controlled method of forcing a patina to form on the steel's surface, and is not a manmade coating. The blade will lighten/darken in some areas with use, which is expected, intentional, and part the charm of owning a forced patina blade. Your knife's patina will evolve as you use it, meaning every knife will develope its own look and personality.
